Personal Recearch-Signature verification for Chinese Characters

My recearch topic is about the signature verification especially for chinese characters.What I want to do in UEC is to compare some algorithms and to find out which one is the best for Chinese characters.

The motivations of my recearch are as follows.

Firstly,Chinese characters have specific sructures,and it is quite different from the letters of an alphabet.Secondly,the chinese people signature is quite different from the western peoples because the general training has not been signed.so the signature samples of instibility,characterized by the signature was not obvious.Thirdly,the handheld device applications will become more widespread .The signature verification must be useful for this kind of device to identify the person.

The current stage of my recearch is that I already found out 3 kinds of algorithms for signature verification,and compared them.And I am trying to use MATLAB to make a program for the possible algorithms.Then use the outcome and the knowledge of my own to judge which one is the most useful for chinese signature.And define in what kind of situation we can use this kind of system!!!!!
